GreenPrints is an environmental justice initiative creating community-driven plans for Charlotte’s neighborhoods. Driven by the belief that every community deserves a clean, safe, and healthy environment, GreenPrints works with residents to identify priorities, inform future investments, and advance solutions that support healthier, more resilient communities.
Historically underinvested areas often face disproportionate exposure to pollution and lack public green spaces, increasing the community’s vulnerability to extreme heat and flooding, and threatening residents’ health and well-being.
By developing comprehensive, localized “GreenPrints,” we are investing in the health, resilience, and future of Charlotte’s Beatties Ford/Rozelles Ferry and Freedom/Wilkinson neighborhoods.
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback at pop-ups, meetings, and through our survey.
