Biography

Stephanie is a PhD candidate at UNC-Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health in the Department of Environmental Sciences & Engineering. She earned her MSPH in Environmental Health from UNC in 2020. She is conducting her dissertation work at U.S. EPA’s Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment, where her current research focuses on understanding the human health impacts of exposure to climate change-influenced environmental hazards, such as wildfire smoke and extreme heat.
