CleanAIRE NC celebrates our 20th anniversary this year! A lot’s changed since 2002, when that small group of volunteers first came together to improve air quality for Mecklenburg County residents. We’ve seen staff come and go, expanded our mission and geographic scope, and even changed our name (twice!). Yet one thing that will never change? Our commitment to protecting the health of all North Carolinians.
So join us for a year of celebration and climate action! And stay tuned throughout 2022 as we both commemorate our first 20 years, and look ahead to our goals for the next 20. Because the fight against climate change and air pollution leaves us little time to slow down.
