As Director of Sustainability at Davidson College, Yancey Fouché works to bring diverse people together to create positive change for communities and the natural world. Since 2017 Fouché has led development and implementation of Davidson’s Climate Action Plan targeting 50% emissions reduction over five years, along with campus transportation planning, and wide-ranging projects and educational programming connecting students, alumni, faculty, staff and community. She is particularly proud of heading Davidson’s Sustainability Scholars summer internship program, matching students with a passion for the environment with Charlotte-area organizations and mentors (including CleanAIRE NC) and helping them launch impactful careers.
