Sherri White-Williamson is a native of Sampson County, NC, where she co-founded the Environmental Justice Community Action Network (EJCAN) to help surrounding communities improve the environment where they live, work, play, and pray. Through EJCAN she empowers communities with the technical, scientific, legal, educational, and funding resources they need to overcome environmental injustices. White-Williamson is also the Director of Environmental Justice Strategy at the North Carolina Conservation Network (NCCN), where she focuses on aligning NCCN’s policy and outreach efforts with environmental justice goals. She earned her Juris Doctor and a Masters in Energy Regulation and Law at Vermont Law School.
