
Kita Chandler, MPH, CCHW is a dedicated community health advocate and seasoned public health leader with over 20 years of experience advancing health equity, improving access to care, and addressing the social and environmental factors that impact community well-being. As a Community Health Worker Leader at Novant Health, she leads high-performing teams focused on community engagement, addressing social determinants of health, and connecting individuals to essential health and social resources. Her experience spans large-scale program development and operations, including managing mobile health services in Mecklenburg County, leading school-based COVID-19 initiatives, and improving immunization systems across 11 counties with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Kita holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Chicago State University. She is passionate about building collaborative partnerships and advancing innovative, data-informed solutions that promote environmental health awareness and create healthier, more equitable communities.
