Tanya Davis serves as Senior Development Manager for CleanAIRE NC, bringing more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, grant development, community engagement, and environmental programming. Throughout her career, Tanya has partnered with schools, nonprofits, municipalities, businesses, and civic leaders to develop programs that strengthen communities through education, sustainability, and public engagement.
Her work has included securing and managing multimillion-dollar grants, leading environmental initiatives, coordinating volunteer-driven programs, and building strategic partnerships across the nonprofit and public sectors. Tanya’s background spans environmental education, fundraising and development, event and operations management, community outreach, and cross-sector collaboration at the local, state, and national levels.
Tanya’s passion for environmental stewardship began while working to improve recycling and reduce waste within her children’s school community, an experience that ultimately led her into the nonprofit environmental sector. She later served as Project Coordinator and Executive Director of Rome Clean and Green, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, where she helped lead community-based initiatives focused on beautification, sustainability, education, and civic pride. Since then, she has remained dedicated to work that connects environmental impact with community empowerment and meaningful public engagement.
Now based in North Carolina, Tanya is proud to support CleanAIRE NC’s mission to improve air quality, protect public health, and advance environmental justice across the state. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, discovering local restaurants and craft breweries, spending time outdoors (especially near the water), and making memories with her children, who remain her favorite travel companions.
