Undi Hoffler

Undi Hoffler, PhD

Dr. Undi Hoffler is an expert in pharmacology and environmental toxicology, with over 19 years of research experience focusing on metabolism and biomarkers of exposure. She conducted her research at the National Institutes of Health/ National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the U.S. Food and Drug  Administration/National Center for Toxicological Research. Currently, Dr. Hoffler  serves as the director for the Office of Research Compliance and Technology  Transfer (ORCTT) at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), where she also  contributes as a health equity researcher. 

Dr. Hoffler’s expertise extends to supporting the creation of University-IP-based startups and mentoring students in social entrepreneurial ventures. She has served as principal investigator on multiple Technology Enhancement Grants funded by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, facilitating studies that enhance the licensing potential of innovative technologies. Additionally, her office plays a crucial role in protecting faculty, staff, and students who report research noncompliance.
