State policymakers are gathering community input to develop an Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) rule that promotes clean, electric trucks in North Carolina. The NC Dept. of Environmental Quality will hold a public hearing and listening session in Pembroke on Wednesday, January 25. Please attend to help shape the ACT and cut tailpipe emissions across NC’s highways and communities.
Registration is required — register here.
Additional public hearings will take place in Charlotte, Burlington, and virtually. All meetings are open for community participation:
DEQ will also host a virtual Info Session before the hearings begin to help communities prepare. You can join the January 9 Info Session here.
