Did you know sales of electric vehicles are growing exponentially due to competitive pricing and technology improvements? Electric vehicles also have the potential to bring widespread health and environmental benefits through improving the air we breathe.

Residents of the Historic West End in Charlotte are invited to check out a variety of electric vehicles on display and talk with EV drivers and experts at the upcoming EVs for Equity event on Saturday, May 21 beginning at noon.

  • Hear about benefits, incentives, and programs for electric vehicle (EV) ownership.
  • Connect with local experts and owners about their experience with EVs.
  • Experience a variety of vehicles on display including Nissan Leaf, Kia Niro, Tesla Model S Plaid edition, and Mitsubishi Outlander.
  • Learn about the Historic West End Green District initiative and the growth of EV infrastructure in the Historic West End, including the latest PoleVolt technology.
