June 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Loading Events

The NC Utilities Commission (NCUC) is seeking public feedback on Duke Energy’s plan to raise energy bills. The increase would disproportionately impact low-income ratepayers, requiring them to spend more of their income on electricity than those with higher incomes.

On June 22nd the NCUC will hold a public hearing in Charlotte. Community members are invited to attend and/or give public comments on the proposed rate hikes. Go here to learn more.
