This dynamic two-day in-person event is dedicated to strengthening community health and environmental resilience across North Carolina. This year’s theme explores the intersection of planetary and human health and community resilience. Planetary health highlights how human activities significantly impact our environment, which in turn affects our health and well-being. Building community resilience—the capacity to adapt and recover from environmental disruptions like natural disasters or climate change—is crucial for withstanding threats to planetary health and tackling global challenges like climate change. FREE LUNG HEALTH SCREENINGS AT NC BREATHE

AstraZeneca will be onsite hosting free lung health screenings on Wednesday, October 8, 8:00am – 3:00pm. These screenings provide vital, preventative resources designed to give impacted communities direct and FREE access to essential care and information. Online registration is closed but walk-ins are welcome!
