At CleanAIRE NC we advocate for the health of all North Carolinians by pursuing equitable and collaborative solutions that address climate change and air pollution. We focus on three powerful determinants of public health: air pollution, climate change, and environmental justice.
The Health Manager is responsible for all activities related to CANC’s Health Program. This includes engaging a statewide network of medical and health professionals at all career levels, from student to retiree, and promoting improved air quality and a stable climate through health education and advocacy to all members. The Health Manager will educate Health Program members, colleagues, and the public on environmental health impacts and advocate primarily on state-level policy, but certain initiatives also target institutional, local, regional, and national policies.
