Charlotte Earth Day 2024 a Success!

CleanAIRE NC celebrated the return of Charlotte’s annual Earth Day event at the Charlotte Museum of History on Saturday, April 20th. The event brought together the Charlotte community for a day packed with engaging activities, environmental education, and outdoor family fun!

This year’s celebration offered an unforgettable experience for children and families alike. Attendees explored and interacted with dozens of exhibiting organizations from the Charlotte area, each showcasing their work in conservation, sustainability, and environmental justice.

Many children and young adults engaged with our four Knowledge Stations using our Earth Passport. Through these interactives, they learned about air, land, water, and health and how they intertwine with our daily lives on this planet. Once they collected all the stamps in their passports, they became Earth Kids!
