The AirKeeper Dashboard is Here!

Your New Mapping Tool for Clean Air Advocacy

Today is a monumental day for clean air in North Carolina! CleanAIRE NC is thrilled to announce the official launch of the AirKeeper Dashboard—an interactive mapping tool set to transform how communities understand and advocate for cleaner air.

Powerful Insights at Your Fingertips

The AirKeeper Dashboard is for everyone who cares about the health of North Carolina communities. Developed in collaboration with our dedicated “AirKeepers,” local community scientists who host the air monitors on the map, the Dashboard delivers powerful real-time and historical air quality readings. It connects these data findings with essential context, such as pollution sources, demographic insights, and health statistics.

This tool was created to amplify the voices and experiences of those most impacted by air pollution, supporting residents and advocates alike with transparent, accessible information. Whether you’re an AirKeeper, a community leader, or simply curious about local air quality, the Dashboard makes it easy to view, download, and analyze data from our growing network of air monitors.

“Our goal is to equip North Carolina communities with the information they need to advocate for cleaner air and healthier living conditions,” said Z Strawderman, Environmental Justice Manager for CleanAIRE NC. “Through the AirKeeper Dashboard, community members can examine air quality, investigate pollution concerns, share their findings through maps and reports, and continue to build the case for positive change.”
