Today’s decision will saddle North Carolina households with an estimated $23 billion in increased fuel costs through 2050, placing a massive new financial burden on families across the state.
SB 266 also systematically dismantles our state’s bipartisan commitment to aggressive carbon reduction by 2030, a goal critical for attracting future clean energy investment and safeguarding our climate.
