Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and raised in Raleigh, Harmony developed a deep appreciation for the environment and community advocacy at an early age. Growing up as the oldest of six siblings, she learned the importance of responsibility, resilience, and problem-solving—skills that now shape her approach to advocacy and policy work.
Harmony attended Catawba College, where she studied Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in Environmental Science and a minor in Information Systems. As a collegiate track and field athlete, she embraced discipline and endurance—qualities that now drive her commitment to environmental justice. Her passion for clean air policy first intersected with CleanAIRE NC at the 2022 Breathe Conference, where she introduced keynote speaker Richard Moore. That connection led to a life-changing summer in New Mexico as a farm apprentice at Los Jardines Institute, an agricultural collaborative focused on food justice and sustainability.
Now serving as a Policy & Advocacy Associate at CleanAIRE NC, Harmony works to advance clean air policies, support community engagement, and educate the public on air quality issues. She is passionate about empowering communities to take action and ensuring that everyone has the right to breathe clean, healthy air.
In her free time, Harmony enjoys running, baking, and painting—especially sunset landscapes, and flowers.
