Every two years, Duke Energy customers have the opportunity to speak directly to the North Carolina Utilities Commission about Duke Energy’s Carbon Plan and how it affects our lives, our families, and our communities. This rally and hearing are a call to action. We are urging Commissioners to require Duke Energy to invest in clean, renewable, and affordable energy—not expand dirty fossil fuels.

Fossil fuels force ratepayers to pay twice: once through rising utility bills and again through impacts on our health. They pollute our air and water, accelerate climate change, and strain our communities economically and environmentally.

We will gather peacefully, respectfully, and with conviction. Together, our voices can demonstrate that a cleaner, safer, and more just energy future is not only possible—it is necessary.
