Environmental justice is under attack! Now more than ever, it is important to understand the history of environmental justice, which had its starting roots in North Carolina. We have created a storyboard to educate on the path and history of activism that has shaped NC’s environment, legislation, and impacted communities.

In college, I had a class where we utilized the storyboard from CleanAIRE NC for an assignment and I was immediately completely blown away. I had never seen anything like it before and it really helped solidify my passion for environmental justice. It was information in a way that told an engaging story.
